Conflict leads to immediate losses in productivity. In the long run, it affects creativity and collaboration in an organization. A study found that almost 10% of workers admit that conflict has led to the failure of a project. Another study found that in United States, workers spent nearly 3 hours per week embroiled in conflict, which equated to USD359 billion of paid time or 385 million work days.

The real issue is not the conflict itself but the issue is how to handle and find a resolution. Whilst conflict could be seen as a negative element, a healthy work environment must have a healthy dose of conflict merely because people are different with differing points of view. If there’s no conflict, your employees are hiding their real thoughts and feelings. Such a situation will explode in your face at some point or another. Hidden, denied or ignored conflict festers and grows into resentment over time. Neglected conflict leads to absenteeism, sickness, break-ups etc. to disrupt organizational effectiveness.

Hence this workshop will address how conflicts are resolved in organizations to remain effective in achieving its goals and objectives.
