The 2 days Basic Occupational First Aid is customized to train the average workers or layperson to become a qualified First Aider. The participants will be taught on basic life support skill such as CPR using an AED and other first aid related topics such as bleedings & wounds, burn & scald, fracture & spinal injuries. The program consists of theory presentation, practical session and life- like simulation (casualty make-up) to equip the participants not only knowledge, but also the skill to handle various emergencies.

• Practical session for hands on CPR using AED.

Section 4: Choking (FBAO)

• How to manage choking

Section 5: Spinal Injury and Transportation
• What is spinal injury and how to manage patient with spinal injury
• How to transport a patient with spinal care to prevent further injury.

Section 6: Burn Injuries
• The type and the depth of burns.

• Management of the burn injury

Section 7: Lifting and handling
• The correct method of lifting

Section 8: Eye, ear, nose Injuries
