Biography
Karen Karn is the Principal Consultant & trainer with Addworth Solutions. She has over 30 years of working experience in management and leadership positions, business systems, and processes, business planning and budgeting, HR management, appraisals and performance management.
Throughout her career in the hospitality, F&B, pharmaceutical sales & marketing companies, and consulting with service based and manufacturing companies, Karen has acquired in-depth experience in setup and managing of businesses systems and processes. In her consulting with management in SME companies, she has reviewed, developed, implemented best practice internal control processes. She has conducted executive coaching, trained and guided her clients in human resource policies, employee handbook, job descriptions, and the performance management and appraisal of employees.
She is a Certified Behavioural Consultant for the DISC profiling tool. Karen has also been volunteering as a lay counsellor at a well-established counselling centre since 2010. She is certified in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy with the William Glasser Institute. She is also a Certified Professional Trainer (IPMA, UK), Certified Human Resource Manager (MIHRM) and HRDF approved trainer.
Karen is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (CA). She holds a Diploma in Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Counselling. She is currently a PhD candidate in a local university.
