What Will You Learn?

  • The Securities Commission and Bank Negara have placed stringent requirements on listed companies and financial institutions so as to meet Malaysia’s commitments under various international treaties including those regarding climate change and labour policies.
  • These requirements should be operationalised throughout the value chain. They do not only apply to larger companies but are essential for SMEs to understand and implement so that they remain relevant and strong.
  • The purpose of this course is to enable participants to understand and appreciate the need for the ESG principles and how to embed them in the daily operations as well as the long term strategy of companies.
